Designs for Hope leads multiple trips every year to work with our partners around the globe.  Teams typically consist of 8-10 people and we are always looking for new team members.

TRIP APPLICATION:

If you are interested in going on a Designs For Hope trip, you will need to download the Overseas Project Application form.  This form must be filled out in it's entirety in order to be considered to travel with Designs For Hope.

A small team will be traveling to central Cuba in September 2019 to install three clean water projects for churches as outlined in our strategic partnership with a ministry in Montgomery, Alabama. These three projects have been fully sponsored by an anonymous family in Trussville, Alabama. This is a closed trip.

A small team will be traveling to southern India in October April 2019 to equip and support an established partnership ministry. Projects include pastor training of over 50 church leaders, installation of an additional clean water project, installation of water monitoring devices of previously installed clean water projects, and evaluation of a new project site. This trip is reserved for a Birmingham church.

Designs For Hope will be traveling with another non-profit located in South Alabama to evaluate a water project for the people they minister to. The purpose is to serve both ministries in finding a solution to their needs. This is a closed trip.

A small team will be traveling to central Cuba in November 2019 to install three additional clean water projects for churches as outlined in our strategic partnership with a ministry in Montgomery, Alabama. This is an open trip (4 to 5 people maximum).

Designs For Hope will be traveling with another non-profit located in Central Alabama to evaluate two water projects for the people they minister to. The purpose is to serve both ministries in finding a solution to their needs. This is a closed trip.

Designs For Hope will be traveling with another non-profit located in Central Alabama to evaluate a DFH designed water pump specific for the location they serve. The solution will be made from locally sourced materials and will be able to be manufactured by local craftsmen. Our goal is to equip and empower the local believers in order for them to meet the needs of their communities. This is a closed trip.

A small team will be traveling to central Cuba in January 2020 to install additional clean water projects for churches as outlined in our strategic partnership with a ministry in Montgomery, Alabama. We will also be evaluating the previously installed water projects installed earlier. This is an open trip (4 to 5 people maximum).

Designs For Hope will be traveling with another non-profit located in Central Alabama to implement a large scale solar water pumping project for an orphanage. Designs For Hope has designed and will be implementing this project. The purpose is to serve both ministries in finding a solution to their needs. This is a closed trip.

A large team will be traveling to Eastern Uganda in March 2020 to equip and support an established partnership ministry. Projects include pastor training, installation of a large scale solar powered water pumping system, installation of water monitoring device, and ministry with the children and youth of the local churches. This trip will be held during Spring Break for most local Alabama school districts and is open to a large group.
