Designs For Hope has supported the Kabakuli PAG church with a water well that is a tool for evangelism as in John 4 when our Lord meets a woman at the well. We have gained much respect from the community here because of the water source we have. Also, the discipleship program we are running is being replicated to other churches who are now desirous of and yearning to grow their members to maturity.
The Designs For Hope team brought their expertise on this very successful clean water project; however, it was their emphasis on ministering beyond clean water by reaching out into the community through local churches that had the most significant impact for the Kingdom. We are very thankful for our friends at Designs For Hope!
Before our partnership with Designs For Hope, our children — mostly girls — used to miss school as they accompanied their mothers to fetch water, but that is no more. Our children's performance has improved because they are always at school. The impact of access to solar-pumped water is already becoming visible. Designs For Hope is God sent and ordained for this generation.
In response to a need for water in Kimose, Kenya, Designs For Hope provided us with all the support we needed to advertise the need, raise the funds, manage the funds, and provide technical support before implementation and on the ground in Kenya to accomplish the work. The project went smoothly due to the proficiency of the Designs For Hope personnel and their competencies.
